Don't get so worked up...

So someone told you your character is a Mary Sue?

Maybe you found out yourself?


Well, that's bad news, I'll admit. But don't get worked up about it. Everybody has Mary Sues, or at least used to have them in the past. I'm guilty of it myself.

The good news is, knowing about the problem is the first step on the long road to redeeming that Sue. So don't worry too much about it.
