Inverloch 2007 contest

Inverloch contest entry. The competition was pretty though. In the end, I didn't just not win, I wasn't even listed as a highlight! o_o Oh well, I'm not bitter about it, I had fun.

Sarah Ellerton runs one of the most awesome webcomics out there. 'Inverloch' has it all: gripping storyline, compelling characters, beautiful artwork, frequent updates and a cute, fluffy main character. Sarah must be a very busy person.
I had wanted to draw her some fanart for quite a while. I went to her site to take a good look at Acheron, the aforementioned fluffy main character. After all, I didn't want to draw him wrong. And then I saw there was an Inverloch fanart competition going on. I decided I might as well enter my fanart for that contest.

Drawing this picture was both challenging and loads of fun! When you compare this picture to say, my comics, there is an obvious difference. I only draw like this when I really work hard and spend several days on it. The author of Inverloch always draws this good, or even better. I only hope I can keep improving too. ^_^
