Out of character enough?

Heh, I guess this one deserves an explanation.
Kay, well here goes. A few weeks ago I came across a contest organized by *Axelrox. Her challenge was to draw a picture of any character other than our own, doing or saying something totally out of character. I thought it was the perfect excuse to draw *xSheepi's Pokémon trainer character, Kylie. xSheepi entered this character in the popular ~PCBC tournament on dA. It's a contest in which entrants draw comics of their trainers battling each other. If you have some spare time, you should really go check it out. I would have entered myself, but I was way too busy this year.

Anyway, for his audition page, xSheepi had Kylie ambush and kill Ash Ketchum, the protagonist of the official show. This should give you a pretty good idea of what kind of person Kylie really is. She's totally psychotic and her Pokémon aren't much better. The things Kylie does are rather nasty, and yet I do like her for some reason. Maybe it's that outfit or something. XD

Ok, moving on to why my entry is out of character. I don't think I really need to go into great detail, but this contest requires me to explain the joke, so here I go:
- Ash would never give up on his dream to become a 'Pokémon Mastah', even though nobody really knows what that is or how to become one. Besides, Ash has been at it for well over 10 years now, and I don't think he's really made that much of a progress.
- Ash would never give up his Pikachu.
- Kylie doesn't hop on one leg when excited and/or happy.
- Kylie does not squeal like a fangirl.
- Kylie does NOT, EVER apologize to anyone. Period.

Only the last panel is totally in character. I decided to have Kylie revert to her usual psychotic self, because she still has a reputation to keep up. And perhaps she also hopes that feeding Ash's miracle Pikachu to her Ariados will make it level up 300 times. And who knows? She just might!
